EPISODE 13 | Discussing In-Stent Restenosis
Sorry, the video is currently unavailable.
A paper published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology reports that about 10% of the PCIs performed in the U.S. between 2009 and 2017 were for in-stent restenosis. Drs. Ron Waksman and Spencer King discuss this paper, and the overall topic of treating ISR, in this episode of “The King and I.” Dr. King points out that ISR has been a known issue with PCI since the days of interventional cardiology pioneer Dr. Andreas Gruentzig.
