    Dr. Ron Waksman’s next guest is Dr. Gerald Dorros, one of the pioneers of interventional cardiology. Dr. Dorros recalls the field’s early days, in the late 1970s, when there were no such devices as arterial sheaths, which required clinicians to adapt with existing equipment that was not designed to open the coronary arteries. He also discusses how the field has changed over the years.
